Transport News Announced
It’s all go for Gig at the Brig 2017 and its only February! Already this year we have announced headlining act Red Hot Chilli Pipers and supporting act Silver City Soul Revue. With a great mixture of Bagrock (as the Red Hot Chilli Pipers call it) and the soulful sound of Silver City Soul Revue, their guaranteed to have the audience up on their feet. There are still 318 days to go but it’s already shaping up to be quite the event, the biggest Gig at the Brig event yet in fact. We can’t wait!
To add to the exciting mix of announcements, we received some fantastic news that I’m sure a lot of you will be quite happy to hear. We are very pleased to announce that Firstbus are now the official transport partners for Gig at the Brig 2017.
So what does this mean? Well a lot for many of you. Firstbus are putting on transport to support Gig at the Brig this year. They will operate 3 separate routes on the night, see below:
- Aberdeen – Bridge of Don (Barracks) – Balmedie – Ellon
- Peterhead – Boddam – Hatton – Ellon
- Blackburn – Kintore – Inverurie – Oldmeldrum – Ellon
If you would like transport to and from the event and you’re in one of the above areas here’s what you need to do. First you need to pre-book your seat. This isn’t a bus service but a coach excursion for which seats need to be pre-booked. Booking orders don’t close until Friday 29th December, 5pm so you still have plenty time (don’t worry we’ll remind you as we draw closer to the event). Next you have to pay, seats cost £20 per person regardless of your pickup point.
And that’s it, booking your seat couldn’t be easier. For more information, contact First Aberdeen Tours Office at 01224.219225; email firstname.lastname@example.org, or call into the First Travel Centre, 47 Union Street, Aberdeen.
The team at Gig at the Brig couldn’t be happier to have Firstbus onboard as transport partner. With their help this is just one of the ways the Gig at the Brig team are improving this year’s event. It’s going to be bigger and better than ever before, don’t forget tickets are still available. Click here for more information.
